


| Shown here are two commissions for garden furniture.The
Gazebo on the left was made mainly from oak with some native scots pine. The roof and base
were constructed in two seperate units to enable the easy transportation and installation
.The swing is one of several commissions that have varied in size and detail. Both units
are roofed with wooden shingles. Other designs can be made including porches, car ports,
and special features. The bench on the right is made from 6 inch oak slabs and the top is
carved into a sinuous line making three seats.The finish is obtained by scorching the
timber and the sealing it.The final position for this piece was in a zen rock garden. click image for larger picture. |
